On August 22-23, a nationwide charity clean-up day was held in Uzbekistan under the motto “A well-maintained and prosperous mahalla is the adornment of the country.”

A clean-up day was also held in the Karakalpak branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Y.Kh. Turakulov. The branch involved 190 employees. 1.8 hectares of landscaping area were used. 6 tons of household and construction waste were removed, and 0.8 kilometers of canals and trays were cleaned.
