Indeed, since we, the elderly, work hard for years and are now entering the path of old age, we are accompanied by illnesses. At such moments, we often seek help from doctors in white coats in our area. It is not for nothing that they are called guardians of health. After all, most of us have chronic diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, which also require constant medical supervision. Therefore, the contribution of medical workers to maintaining our health is enormous. In our country, selfless doctors always treat us, the elderly, with respect and care and treat our illnesses. For us, the elderly, it is perhaps both a duty and an obligation to give them our blessing and mercy. On the one hand, this is a sign of humanity, gratitude and our appreciation of our medicine. Due to our chronic disease – type 2 diabetes (diabetic polynephropathy) – we came from the Muynak district for treatment at the branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Turakulov, one of the famous medical centers in our country. Of course, any patient, first of all, expects attention to himself. When we contacted the diabetic nephropathy department #1 of this medical institution, we learned about this from the head of the department Bekpolat Pirniyazov. He talked to us, elderly people with a high level of medical culture, and assigned us to his department. Later, Lola Romanova, who was known in the department as a qualified doctor, was assigned to us as our attending physician. The head of the department B. Pirniyazov and doctor L. Romanova first examined us thoroughly and prescribed adequate treatment methods. They explained to us the essence of our disease and how to cope with it. They taught us that the most important thing is love for life and a positive attitude. Indeed, for us, the elderly, the comfort that the young specialists provided us with initially had a positive effect on our recovery.
Now, thank God, our health has improved significantly. In the department, experienced nurses Liza Berdibaeva, Esbergenova Sapargul and Kurbanyiazova Indira, quickly and accurately injecting into the vein, under the guidance of senior nurse Oysuluv Aytuganova, administered the drugs prescribed by the doctors on time. During each procedure, they raised our restless mood with their jokes and interesting conversations. This, of course, along with their higher medical knowledge, was an aspect of establishing relationships with patients that others should learn from.
The maid, Indzhigul Abdizhamilova, provided us with clean mattresses and bed linen, creating an atmosphere similar to home. The nurse, Bakhytgul Dosnazarova, monitored the cleanliness of the ward during our treatment. When necessary, she also selflessly washed and washed the dishes in which we drank tea and ate food. During the treatment, we were convinced of one thing: in this department, in general in the Karakalpak branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Turakulov, the systematic and coordinated actions of each medical worker (whether a doctor, a nurse, an orderly, etc.) will undoubtedly lead to the speedy recovery of any patient who came here for healing.
In conclusion, we wish all the above-mentioned medical workers further success in their work, good health and tireless service to the people. We wish them high titles and awards from our state.
Maksad YAKHSIMURATOV, Raya ALIMBETOVA, pensioners from Muynak.
