For the good of man!

The Karakalpak branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician E.H. Turakulov and the UMID Charitable Public Association, in cooperation with leading experts from the State of Georgia, organized educational classes in the region for patients with type 1 diabetes aged 18-25 years, as well as the patronage and practice of nurses in the primary system!

Classes on a therapeutic approach to life expectancy and self-control of patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus were conducted, the latest modern methods of insulin administration and reduction of symptoms of the disease in young patients were trained. A special diabetes diary was distributed to patients for daily monitoring.

A total of 374 nursing and practical nurses who participated in the seminar were trained in early diagnosis of diabetes, promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the population to prevent the spread of diabetes, and working with patients under the supervision of “D”.
